After three days of constant discussions, the strike Limassol port came to an end on Wednesday.

In the morning, the unions and port operator DP World Limassol, signed the collective agreement, as a result of which the strike ended.

The strike, according to the workers was a result of management’s non-compliance with collective agreements but also due to a number of unilateral additions and subtractions that took place shortly before the agreement was signed.

According to the unions, the end of the strike was reached after intensive consultations. All points of the draft were agreed and the collective agreement was signed.

Employees have returned to work.
