Car torched in Paphos

A fire, which broke out at 7.20pm in an area of Katydata village in the Nicosia district, was brought under full control at 8pm

Police are investigating a fire which destroyed a parked vehicle in Paphos.

Authorities were notified about the fire around 25 minutes after midnight on Monday.

The fire service arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze before it spread to nearby vehicles.

Police said the vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire.

Investigations into the case and collection of evidence resumed early on Monday by Paphos CID and the fire brigade after stopping overnight.
