Laughing gas haul in Paralimni

File photo

A drug squad (Ykan) search on Wednesday night at a Paralimni building uncovered 175 metal ampules of nitrous oxide or laughing gas.

The bust took place after a court warrant was issued while the owner of the building was present. At the premises other items were confiscated and have subsequently been sent to state labs for further tests.

Paralimni police are continuing their investigations.
