Cabinet discussion on reforms to continue Friday

The cabinet on Tuesday held a four-hour session reviewing the progress of various projects and reforms with the process continuing Friday, the government spokesman said.

Marios Pelekanos said the ministers of foreign affairs, finance, interior, education, defence, transport, and justice, briefed the president on the progress of projects, reforms, policies and strategies within their remit.

Special reference was made to projects included in the island’s recovery scheme which will be paid for with €1.2bn from the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Fund.

The session will continue on Friday at 10am.
