A kiosk in Nicosia was extensively damaged by a fire which broke out in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to police, the fire started after 4am inside the kiosk, in the Makedonitissa area.
The fire damaged the building and its contents, while the fire service evacuated two flats above the kiosk as a precaution.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
