Three arrests after stabbing outside Limassol hospital

Three people were arrested in Limassol on Sunday in connection with stabbing a man outside the hospital.

The three are aged 24, 27 and 28. According to police, they attacked a 24-year-old man who had taken a friend of his to the hospital at around 12:30am. His friend had been beaten by strangers.

After taking his friend to the hospital, the 24-year-old left and returned an hour later. Just outside the hospital entrance, the three men, whom he is familiar with, attacked him and one stabbed him with a knife.

The man was taken in for treatment while the three fled the scene.

Both men who were injured have since been allowed to leave the hospital while police secured the arrest of the three suspects.
