New dean appointed to School of Health Sciences at Neapolis University Pafos

Neapolis University Pafos has named Professor Stelios N Georgiou as the new Dean of the School of Health Sciences as of the 2021-2022 academic period.

Professor Georgiou has published work in international scientific journals and is an active member of international professional bodies. He is also the author of Educational Psychology textbooks that are used in Greek universities. He has taught at many universities abroad, and was also a Professor for many years at the University of Cyprus, where, in addition to teaching and research, he has held positions of administrative responsibility.

The new Dean is expected to assist in further improving the already successful psychology programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level, the quality upgrade of the School of Health Sciences as well as the increase of its international recognition.
