Police investigate home invasion robbery

An 85-year-old woman was robbed in her home in the Larnaca district on Thursday evening with the intruder taking the victim’s phone and cash.

Police said the woman had filed a complaint that an unknown man had entered the house, and after taking a knife from the kitchen gone upstairs and asked for money.

She gave him €100, but the suspect also stole her mobile phone, worth €250 with its case where the woman kept another €140 in cash.

Police went to the scene and collected evidence.

Kiti Police Station is investigating the case.
