Man arrested after throwing chairs at officers

A 42-year-old man was arrested on Sunday in connection with an assault and causing malicious damage while at a pub in Paphos, police said.

A tourist, on holiday in Paphos, is said to have broken various items under the influence of alcohol at the pub in the Tombs of the Kings area.

When police were called to the scene however, the 42-year-old allegedly threw a chair at the officers. He was arrested.

The investigations by Paphos CID are ongoing.
