Police on Monday arrested a 38-year-old man in Nicosia in connection with possession of a firearm and participation in a crime.
The arrest took place at lunchtime during a police operation. In the suspect’s possession, officers found a pistol with a suppressor.
The pistol along with other items will undergo forensics examination. Police were investigating the possibility of the suspect being involved in a crime.
