An 18-year-old teenager was arrested in Paphos late on Monday in connection with nine separate burglary cases.

According to a police announcement, the suspect was arrested as part of the investigations into a number of burglaries.

During his statement to the police, the young man admitted to eight burglaries and thefts across Paphos district.

He also admitted to another breaking and entering for the purpose of committing a different crime, police said.
