Pensioner hospitalised after traffic collision

Paphos General Hospital

A pensioner has been admitted to hospital after he was injured in a traffic accident that occurred in Paphos.

According to a police announcement, the truck of a 67-year-old man, under conditions that are being investigated, crashed into the car of a 73-year-old man in Emba on Monday.

The older man, who is a permanent resident of Paphos, was transferred to the accidents and emergency department of the district’s general hospital where he was kept for further treatment.
