Limassol District Court

Limassol district court was evacuated early on Monday due to smoke caused by a short circuit in a room used for storage.

According to police, the building was evacuated after smoke fumes filled the court.

Firefighters, who were called to the scene, conducted examinations which showed that the smoke came from a short circuit during electrical works.

The incident is believed to have been in the same room that was purposely burnt last year and contained evidence.
