Porsche Center Cyprus hosts island’s most powerful fast-charging station

A.I. Motokinisi Ltd. has installed the first fast-charging power-charging station, the most powerful in Cyprus, at the Porsche Center Cyprus in Nicosia.

The Porsche Turbo Charge station features two independent chargers, with a charging capacity of up to 320 KW (2X160 KW), and is able to charge two Porsche Taycan, simultaneously, to 80 per cent of their capacity in fewer than 20 minutes.

This is a “plug & play” system for Taycan owners that saves time and is offered free of charge.

The station is part of the charging network being developed by AI Motokinisi Ltd. in cooperation with Porsche AG in Cyprus. In addition to the Porsche Turbo Charge station, the network includes 22kW AC chargers in all Porsche centres and 11KW AC chargers in five Cyprus locations – to increase to eight within 2021.

The five locations are as follows:

• Radisson Blu Hotel, Larnaca
• Four Seasons Hotel, Limassol
• Parklane Hotel, Limassol
• Amara Hotel, Limassol
• Grecian Park Hotel, Ayia Napa
