Showers expected in some areas on Sunday

Isolated showers are expected across parts of the island on Sunday with storms possible in the west, the north and in the mountains, the met office said.

Temperatures are expected to come around 29C inland, 28C on the south and east coasts 26C on the western coast, and 19C in the mountains. Winds are expected to be moderate.

On Sunday night temperatures will drop to 15C inland, 17C along the coast and 9C in the higher mountains.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the weather will be partly cloudy with isolated showers, while temperatures will hover around the seasonal average.
