Man arrested at airport after steroids found in his luggage

Paphos airport

A 49-year-old man was arrested at Paphos airport after steroids and other prohibited substances were found in his luggage, police said on Friday.

According to the police announcement, the man had 54 capsules and 52 tablets of steroids and prohibited substances in his luggage.

The substances were found during the control by the customs before the man’s departure from Paphos airport.

Police said the suspect made some allegations that are being examined.
