Paphos police and the fire service on Thursday were investigating arson after three vehicles caught fire in Tala, Arodon and Inias communities.

According to preliminary examinations, police said the vehicle that was torched in Arodes late on Wednesday was stolen from Chlorakas area, by the same person who was involved in the Inia arson.

Police said the Tala arson, which occurred the same night, appears to be unrelated.

The scenes were cordoned off by officers for examinations in collaboration with the fire service.
