Police investigating counterfeit banknote case

Paphos police

Paphos police on Wednesday were investigating a case of counterfeit banknotes following a complaint by a bank employee.

The employee told police that he found a counterfeit €100 bill while he was checking the money that was deposited in the bank.

He gave a statement to the police, who are investigating the case.
