Authorities said two hunters were fined a total of €600 for breaking hunting regulations in Paphos on Sunday.

The first hunter was fined €500 for using an illegal device that produces bird sounds to attract prey. Game service officers also confiscated his prey.

In a second case, a hunter was booked for €150 after he was found driving in Psathi village with his hunting shotgun assembled.

According to a game service officer, hunters should keep their guns unmounted.
