Police charge fans for use of flare, firecracker during game

UEFA have fined APOEL 100,000 euros after their fans created a 'flare festival' against Bordeaux

Two people were charged for lighting a flare and setting off a firecracker during the Nicosia derby between Apoel and Omonia on Monday evening.

The suspects were released to be summoned at a later date.

The fixture was abandoned at the 17th minute because of the heavy fog. The score at the time was 0-0.
