Coronavirus: Police report 24 people for Covid measures violations

Police fined 21 individuals and the managers of three businesses in the past 24 hours for violation of Covid measures.

According to a police spokesperson, 3,078 checks were carried out across the Republic areas in the past 24 hours.

A total of 1,598  checks were carried out in Nicosia and four people were reported. In Limassol, after 236 checks 10 individuals, including two shop owners were reported, while in Larnaca there were 394 checks with four people reported.

Paphos police carried out 105 checks and reported three people, including a shop owner, and in Famagusta after 394 checks, police reported three three individuals. There were no bookings in the Morphou area after 148 checks
Traffic and marine police carried out 197 and six checks respectively with no fines issued.
