Hunter injured after accidentally discharging gun

A hunter was injured in the leg on Wednesday when he fell accidentally discharged his weapon, authorities said.

According to Paphos police the 66-year-old while hunting in the Tsada area lost his balance and the gun went off injuring his knee.

The hunter drove himself to Paphos hospital where he was treated for his injury. Police went to the hospital to take a statement.
