Coronavirus: All arrivals must take PCR before flight as of Tuesday

airport

As of Tuesday all travellers arriving in Cyprus must have a negative PCR test result not older than 48 hours regardless of where they are coming from or their vaccination status, the ministry of health reminded on Sunday.

This applies for anyone aged 12 and over.

All passengers will also undergo a PCR test at the airport once they arrive, which they will pay for themselves.

And all those who have not received a third vaccine must also undergo a rapid test 72 hours after their arrival.

These rules will be in place for all arrivals except those from Grey countries, for which special permission has to be gained in advance, who must also quarantine on arrival for 14 days or seven days if they pay for a further PCR test.

All passengers are also required to complete the Cyprus Flight Pass within 48 hours before their departure.
