Akel leader Stefanos Stefanou has tested positive for Covid-19 and is self-isolating in line with the protocols, the party said on Friday afternoon.

The announcement was made public by the party’s official social media account, but no other details were immediately available.

It comes a week after Health Minister Michalis Hadjipantelas announced that he had also tested positive.
