Paphos police up patrols after kiosk robberies

Paphos police on Saturday said it will be stepping up patrols in the district after two kiosk robberies in one week.

Spokesman Michalis Nicolaou said that in light of recent events, there will be more frequent nighttime checks at businesses such as kiosks and bakeries.

He also called on business owners and homeowners to take their own protection measures,

Nicolaou said that the two robberies took place at two different kiosks, one located on Eleftherios Venizelos avenue in central Paphos and the other in Chlorakas.
