Lidl drive supporting Cyprus Red Cross equipment, teams’ upgrade

Faithful to its values as a company, Lidl Cyprus is committed to supporting the local community actively,  especially in light of the current difficult period that humanity is weathering, worldwide.

Given that children and their families are in daily need of Cyprus Red Cross (CRC) teams’ support, Lidl Cyprus – in an initiative that began on March 7 and runs until April 24, or until stocks last – has pledged to donate €0.35 from the purchase of every Favorina product towards the upgrade of CRC equipment and First Aid teams across the island.

The Cyprus Red Cross and its trained First Aid instructors, who are specialised in Emergency First Aid by the Norwegian Red Cross, apply innovative, best practices and up-to-date techniques. The amount raised from the initiative at Lidl Cyprus’ 18 branches will thus be allocated towards upgrading techniques for emergency cases all over Cyprus.

In this way, within the framework of its corporate responsibility programme, Lidl Cyprus continues to strengthen its long-standing ties with the CRC by supporting the work of the organisation, according to its needs during a specific period, while looking ahead to a better tomorrow.
