Pafilia Property Developers’ flagship Paphos resort MINTHIS has once again proven its universal appeal, receiving three honours at the prestigious Cyprus Tourism Awards 2021, which were held on April 12.

MINTHIS won a Bronze Award in the ‘Best Boutique Hotel/Resort’ category. Having launched its ‘Stay’ offering last June, the luxury lifestyle resort drew guests far and wide to its peaceful surroundings and luxurious accommodation, enhanced by world-class facilities and true Cypriot hospitality.

Meanwhile, keeping its promise as a sustainable resort, MINTHIS received a second Bronze Award in the ‘Sustainable energy and water management/Renewable Energy Sources/Recycling/Waste Management/ Environmental Footprint’ category, for the work achieved on its golf course.

Finally, MINTHIS received a Silver Award in the ‘Website (Accommodation/Travel/Destination/Services, etc.)’ category, for its intuitive and functional digital home, which not only features an intuitive, user-friendly booking process, but also perfectly reflects the resort’s philosophy.

The Cyprus Tourism Awards offer professionals, companies and organisations the chance to be recognised and appreciated for their high-quality services, unique products and unparalleled customer focus.

While the pandemic brought a new reality, it did not stop the judging panel, which consists of highly-regarded professionals who are experts in their field, to reward the determination and resilience of those ready to innovate and enhance the presence of Cyprus locally and abroad, winning the hearts and minds of visitors.

As Executive Director of Pafilia Property Developers Ltd, Demetris Ashiotis noted: “The Cyprus Tourism Awards, are highly important to us, not just as a company, but as a team. MINTHIS offers something new and different to the Cyprus tourism market, addressing the changing needs of the frequent traveller to provide not just a comfortable room to stay but an authentic local experience.

“These awards are one more reason to keep us motivated and in constant seeking of excellence with respect to our country and towards our clients.”

The award ceremony was held at Limassol’s glamorous Four Seasons Hotel, organised for the third consecutive year by BOUSSIAS Cyprus.

The Cyprus Tourism Awards for 2021 were presented by the Bank of Cyprus, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (ACTA), the Cyprus Hotel Association and the Cyprus Tourism Association. In total, 42 awards were handed out: gold, silver and bronze, in eight different categories.
