Man injured while using hand tractor

A 28-year-old man was admitted to Paphos General hospital after being seriously injured while operating a hand tractor in ​​Kouklia.

According to a police spokesperson, the 28-year-old was cultivating a vineyard when under conditions that are being investigated, he injured his left leg.

Members of the Kouklia police station went to the scene and the fire service members assisted in releasing the man.

The 28-year-old was transported to the A&E department of the Paphos General hospital and underwent surgery. According to the attending physician, his condition is serious but out of danger.

Further examination revealed that the 28-year-old resides illegally in the territory of the Republic. Police issued an arrest warrant against his 59-year-old employer and owner of the vineyard, as well as against the 28-year-old who lives and works illegally in Cyprus.
