Police on Friday said they are looking for another five suspects related to the violent incidents that took place before a football match in Larnaca last Saturday during which a 20-year-old man suffered burns to 45 per cent of his body.

The case concerns incidents that took place before the Anorthosis-Apollon football match at the Antonis Padopoulos stadium.

Evripides Frangou, 20, remains hospitalised in serious condition after allegedly being injured by a molotov cocktail explosion as he was passing the stadium while walking his dog.

Another eight people are also wanted for the case, after two wanted suspects, aged 30 and 22, were charged in writing after admitting involvement.

The details and photos of the wanted people are published on police’s official website.

Whoever has any information that could help locate the wanted men should contact Larnaca CID on 24-804060, their nearest police station of the citizen’s line on 1460.
