Limassol man arrested on suspicion of stealing property worth €100,000

A 37-year-old man was arrested on Friday by Limassol police on suspicion of burglary and theft of equipment from a former restaurant, worth about €100,000.

According to police, the burglary was committed between November 2021 and March 2022.

In a separate incident, Limassol police arrested a 26-year-old woman in connection to the theft of €1,000 and a child ID card, from the home of a complainant.

The money and the ID card were in an envelope in a room of the house and the theft was noticed on May 16.

Suspicions were raised against the 26-year-old, who was arrested.

The court ordered the woman´s four-day detention.
