Forty-four complaints of traffic violations were made by the Paphos Police on Saturday night, with more than half of them related to driving under the influence of alcohol.

Out of 44 bookings for traffic violations in Paphos on Saturday night, more than half involved drunk driving, police said on Sunday.

One of the drivers booked was also under the influence of drugs and was driving alone on a learner licence.
The remainder of the bookings were minor violations, police said.
