The Limassol-based Cyprus University of Technology (Tepak) is organising a summer school for PhD students this summer.

The programme targets students from the eight universities participating in the European University of Technology Alliance (EUt+) and beyond, and is titled From Zero to PhinisheD.

The course will be held in English at Tepak from July 4 to 8, 2022. This one-week course combines a wide range of topics related to communication, sustainability, entrepreneurship and research, as well as various social and cultural activities such as city tours and excursions.

The training programme will include lectures, discussions, exercises and networking activities. All sessions will be led by academic members and experts.

The Summer School aims to introduce students to their new role as PhD students and to introduce them to tools that will help them in managing projects, research training, work-life balance and working with their supervisors.

Applications will be accepted until June 8.

The training programme offered includes accommodation in the university’s student residences during the one week of face-to-face sessions.

It also includes free access to the University’s sports facilities, free use of bicycles, while the sports programme covers morning exercise, yoga and water sports.
