Accidents cause heavy traffic on motorways between Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca on Sunday

Heavy traffic was observed on parts of the Nicosia-Limassol motorway late on Sunday afternoon due to a large number of accidents, in which no injuries were reported, the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (Cybc) reported.

According to police, accidents occurred on the Limassol to Nicosia motorway Nicosia-bound, near Sia and in the area of Halepianes and on the Larnaca to Nicosia motorway, in the direction of Nicosia, near Lympia.

Police have urged drivers heading towards Lakatamia and Strovolos to use the exit from Halepianes.
