Twenty-two year old motorcyclist injured in collision

A 22-year-old motorcyclist, who was injured in a road collision on Monday afternoon in Paphos, is being treated at the Paphos general hospital.

According to police statement, a 32-year-old driving a platform truck, under conditions being investigated, collided with the motorcycle driven by a 22-year-old. The driver of the motorcycle was injured and was transported by ambulance to the emergency department of Paphos general hospital.

According to the attending physician, the young man suffered fractures to his right leg and pelvis and was kept for further treatment.

Paphos traffic police is investigating the causes of the accident.
