New music festival embraces emotions

“We are constantly being shaped by an endless stream of emotions,” say the organisers of a new music festival arriving this June and titled Emotions. “They dictate our choices and actions, how we relate to others and consequently how they treat us. Music, its creation and expression, is driven by emotions and translated into memories of that moment. With that in mind, we want to connect through music and arts, to show you our vision of how emotions can have meaning and importance in everyday life.”

Emotions Festival, coming this June 25 and 26, will be a techno music extravaganza inviting ravers for an all-night party in nature. Held amongst the raw nature of the Kampia village, the Angel’s Hills Resort will welcome music lovers to party from one sunset to the next. The hotel has hosted similar events in the past and now it is getting ready to welcome another weekend of non-stop music from a line-up of DJs.

Nine DJ artists from all over the world have been carefully selected to perform at the festival with the backdrop of the forest as soon as the doors open at 7pm. Party-goers will dance to the beats played by DJs Dasha Rush, Luigi Tozzi, Amandra, Vera Logdanidi, F-On, Alex Tomb, KATRA and WLM & Iffie.

For those that want to bring a tent and stay the night, the campsite of the Angel’s Hills Resort will be available free of charge throughout the festival weekend. As the first of its kind in Cyprus, the organisers wish to make the Emotions Festival a place to enjoy techno music in its pure form whilst connecting with nature and like-minded people.

“Summer of 2022 sees the initiation of Emotions,” conclude the organisers, “a new festival on the island of Cyprus which is a collaborative effort of local and international crews to create something unique and offer the scene forward-thinking music and futuristic ideas.
