Police find more than 2kg of meth buried in open space in Limassol

Limassol police are investigating after finding more than two kilos of methamphetamine buried in an open space in a village in the district.

Police said they found 2.18kg of the substance buried in a plastic bag containing 23 smaller packages at  around 10pm on Saturday night, most likely after a tip-off.

Investigations are underway to find the owners of the drugs.
