Paphos police discover stolen goods during raid

Paphos police are investigating a case of stolen property found in a building in Stavrokonou.

According to the Paphos police department spokesman Michalis Nicolaou, on Thursday, between 11.50am and 12.10pm, following information given to the Pafos CID, members of the Pafos CID and Kelokedara station conducted a search inside an abandoned outhouse in the Stavrokonou area, where they discovered a shotgun, which was the product of a burglary reported in October 2019 in Paphos, and a Flobert hunting rifle which was reported from a burglary in January 2022.

They also found a lawnmower which had been stolen in a case reported on June 23.

All the evidence was sent for scientific examination. The case is being investigated by Paphos CID.
