Public hospitals’ hours extended starting September (update)

All public hospitals’ working hours will be extended to cover afternoons from September 1st, the state health services organisation (Okypy) announced on Monday.

The public will be accommodated 7:30 am – 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm and will be able to book an appointment with specialised doctors at outpatient clinics via phone or online by visiting: https://shso.org.cy/

The schedule of available specialised doctors will be announced weekly on the organisation’s website.

Certain procedures, such as endoscopies (bronchoscopies, colonoscopies, gastroscopies, etc.) and operations related to invasive cardiology (catheterizations, etc.) will also be performed with the aim of greater flexibility for patients.
