Two arrested at Paphos airport with fake IDs

Paphos airport

A man and woman were arrested for a case of forgery and impersonation as they tried to leave the country through Paphos airport, police said on Tuesday.

During checks at passport control they attempted to leave for France.

The man had a Belgian ID card and the woman a French passport, which police determined were forged.

During questioning, the two suspects gave their real personal details and were taken into custody.
