Man cut free in car crash

Members of the fire services on Thursday morning had to cut a man free after a car crash in Nicosia.

Police and the Fire Service had been called at 06.20 am for help in a car accident on the Kampia-Kapedes road, where they responded with a team and a rescue vehicle.

A man was cut free using rescue tools and transferred to the Nicosia general hospital.

The driver and fellow passengers of the second vehicle had exited their car before the arrival of the Fire Service.
