Today’s weather: Another 39C inland, cooler coasts

Cyprus is to sizzle again on Friday most notably in the interior, which is set for 39C, while the coasts can expect a milder 30-33C.

The meteorological department detailed that the west and southwest coasts are set for 30C while the rest are due for 33C. The mountains are estimated to be at about 29C.

Tonight the temperature will drop to 19C inland while the southern coasts will experience 21C – with the rest set for about 23C.

The met service added that no major changes are expected over the weekend are expected – remaining slightly above the average for the season in the coming days.
