Time flies and too often we forget to notice the signs of progress achieved. Over the past decades, Leptos Group has seen many changes in the evolution of its projects.
In this article, the Group shares a before and after bird’s eye-view photograph of Kato Paphos Harbour.
In the left section of the image, viewers can see how the area appeared in the early 1980s. Very few developments existed back then, other than the Medieval Castle, surrounded by a very small fishing port, the historic ruins of St. Paul’s Pillar, and the Basilica Holiday Resort and Paphos Gardens Holiday Resort, which were the area’s first projects.
Leptos Group Founder Michael Leptos had a very clear vision of the potential and possibilities of the Paphos region, and was one of the first to purchase land in and around the area, identifying its genuine potential for vast, quality development. He proceeded to develop Paphos and its environs into the thriving, cosmopolitan town one admires today, executing projects featuring sophistication, quality and design excellence, while remaining conscious of the environment.
Since the 1960s, the Leptos Group has gone from strength to strength, building hotels and thousands of homes and holiday condominiums – including multiple award-winning projects, such as the renowned Leptos Kamares Village, Coral Beach Hotel & Resort and Paradise Gardens, which later continued.
All of the projects are characterised by their aesthetic charm that engages directly with the natural environment, satisfying even the most demanding of expectations. Seafront projects, as well as resort residences are all designed and constructed with the aim of creating vibrant ‘neighborhoods’, while the hillside homes are akin to ‘precious jewels’, enhancing the Group’s diverse property portfolio.
