“Access4ALL” festival aiming at raising awareness for persons with disabilities

Aiming at raising awareness among the public, policy makers and professionals in relation to the needs and fundamental rights of persons with disabilities festival “Access4ALL” is being scheduled to take place on September 10 and 11 at the old Limassol port.

The festival also aims at improving the accessibility and integration of disabled people in the social, economic, and cultural life of the city.

Cyprus ports authority (CPA) in an announcement expressed its support for the festival while providing the square at the old Limassol port, “one of the few accessible spaces for the disabled.”

Notably, the event will be accessible and free for all.

Attendees will have the opportunity to try and enter the difficult position of disabled individuals to better understand the difficulties they face every day through various activities.

CPA’s board chairman Dr. Antonis Stylianou said that they will always support events that promote social sensitivity, information, and mobilization of the entire civil society on such important issues.

“Access4ALL” is being organized by the Research and Education of Social Empowerment and Transformation – RESET LTD, the Center for Social Innovation – CSI and Cyprus 3×3.

Cyprus Ports Authority invites the public to support “Access4ALL” taking place on September 10 and 11 between 5.30pm and 9pm at the old Limassol port.
