Polis hospital gets cardiologist

The mayor of Polis Chrysochous, Yotis Papachristofis, welcomed the appointment of a cardiologist at Polis Chrysochous Hospital on Tuesday morning.

In an official announcement, Papachristofis stated that as of Monday, cardiologist Dr. Sophia Terzi, would be on duty to examine patients at the hospital’s outpatient clinics, and provide 24-hour services on-call.

Papachristofis thanked the ministry of health and Health Minister, Michalis Hadjipantelas, as well as the state health services organization (Okypy) for implementing their commitment to appoint a cardiologist within the agreed timeframe.

The mayor added that implementation of further requests are expected in the immediate future.
