Hope for Children continues to support Ukrainian children

hfc parimatch foundation

The humanitarian organisation Hope for Children CRC Policy Centre (HFC) and the international charity Parimatch Foundation have signed a protocol aimed at supporting the needs of Ukrainian children in Cyprus as the war continues in their country.

The start of the cooperation took place at the end of last February when many Ukrainian children arrived in Cyprus with their families.

Having as their common goal to support these children, HFC and Parimatch Foundation, supported by the volunteer network CY4UA – Cyprus for Ukraine, began to systematically provide essential items and other services to the families.

In addition, HFC offers free services of psychological, social and legal support, counselling and guidance on issues related to the protection of children and their rights.

This summer, HFC actively participated in the sports camp organised by the Parimatch Foundation, and the team of psychologists presented to the children a special non-formal learning programme using various games to manage the negative emotions and trauma.

As part of the HFC and Parimatch Foundation partnership, with a high sense of social responsibility and contribution, they plan further actions aimed at benefiting children with psychosocial support for them and their families.

For more information on the collaboration and the actions it includes, contact the organisation “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Centre at 22103234.
