Motorcyclist killed in Nicosia collision, police appeal for witnesses

A 35-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday in Nicosia.

The collision claimed the life of Christos Christodoulou.

According to police, the collision took place on Ayiou Andreou Street in Pallouriotissa Christodoulou was driving a 125cc motorcycle towards Nicosia city centre.

Under circumstances now being investigated, the motorcycle collided with an oncoming car drive by a 69-year-old man that heading towards the Bata roundabout.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact the Nicosia traffic department, on the telephone number 22-802023 or the citizen’s line on 1460 or inform their nearest police station.
