The European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) is delighted to announce its new partnership with the UK-headquartered Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). EIMF will become its exclusive physical Accredited Training Partner, and operate as a one-stop shop to support individuals and firms booking training exams and membership in Cyprus.

As part of this effort, EIMF has expanded its offered range of CISI certifications and will provide the local market with the training and tools needed for success. The CISI pathways include Risk and Compliance, Operations, Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, and Wealth Management.

EIMF CEO Marios Siathas will join other Cypriot business leaders on the CISI’s National Advisory Council, working to ensure content remains cutting-edge and relevant, and that membership value remains unrivalled. The goal is for EIMF and CISI to cater directly to the local needs of professionals and grow the Institute’s membership and visibility on the island.

“Our team is excited and eager to continue growing the CISI brand in Cyprus, now as its exclusive local distribution partner,” commented CEO Siathas. “Our efforts moving forward will focus on boosting CISI’s already-sterling reputation on the island, growing the range of educational opportunities available to local professionals, and providing even more value to Cypriot members.”

Via this agreement, EIMF also hopes to nurture new and unique relationships with other regional and international professional bodies, to work together for the betterment of the local financial services profession.

The initiative will target younger, up-and-coming generations, introducing them to the role played, and opportunities posed by, financial services, as well as boosting financial literacy and conveying how the CISI can support them throughout their career.

For his part, Kevin Moore, Chartered FCSI CISI’s Director of Global Business Development, said: “we are delighted to confirm our partnership with EIMF for the next chapter of the CISI in Cyprus.

“EIMF previously trained for CISI certifications, but our partnership will now go deeper as we commit to grow our membership and offer a broader range of certification training.

“Together we aim to contribute to the growth of the financial sector,” he added.

Continuing in the same vein, Siathas remarked that: “we hold the firm belief that CISI is a unique and crucial professional body in the financial world, one that has integrity, ethics and transparency embedded in its entire being, and which offers local professionals’ immense value and opportunities for both career and personal growth.

“These values and attitudes, which are imperative to be an effective, successful, and respected businessperson in this day and age, are ones we want to spread to every corner of our island.”
