Police on Thursday said they arrested a 31-year-old for drunk driving over twice the limit and speeding over twice the limit on the highway.

According to police, the man was stopped on the Nicosia-Limassol highway just after midnight on Thursday.

Police said the man was driving at over twice the speed limit at 258 km per hour instead of 100 km per hour.
