The transport ministry on Thursday announced direct air connection to three Saudi airports.

The flights will start in April 2023. The first will be Larnaca–Riyadh.

In July of the same year, there will be flights from Larnaca to Jeddah and from Larnaca to Dammam. Flights will be operated by Wizz Air.

In his statements, Transport Minister Yiannis Karousos said: “We continue to improve the air connectivity of our country with all the resulting benefits.”

He said the latest developments had come about through the joint efforts of his ministry, the tourism ministry and Hermes Airports.
