Elsewhere, an app has been launched called Fix Cyprus whereby the public can report issues such as broken traffic lights and vandalism directly to public sector authorities.

There’s also the update that Andreas Soudjis – imprisoned in the north over the use of walkie talkies and taking photographs of a military area – will be released on October 7.
